One of Dancehall's best lyricists Vybz Kartel has been banned from performing on Grenadian soil at a concert scheduled for Saturday (May 2, 2009).

Top 100 Reggae Songs Selected by UWI

The University of West Indies, Mona Campus gathered to select the 100 reggae songs from 1957 to 2007.

The list was comprised by a panel of professional musicians, disc jockeys and soundsystems. Each made thier selection based on record sales, radio airplay and how the song influenced musical trends....

The UWI also hopes that all 100 songs will ultimately be compiled into a box set.
